SIU-FL Community Hub is our central location online for all our community outreach and support. Through it, we can communicate directly and efficiently with out community about our events, support programs, and research initiatives while receiving feedback regarding community needs and concerns. Events can be organized, and in some cases held digitally, on the platform. We can post events within our local community and broader agency alliance in our server to get the word out and gauge interests.
As a digital social community, the server provides a venue for intra-community organization between youth, SIU, our agency alliance, and relevant organizations of interest to the community. Social events can be organized and promoted through the server. Participants may also use the server to self-organize and coordinate events and establish community connections.
​While research cannot be conducted in the server, research opportunities can be posted in a dedicated research channel, allowing for the advertising of research opportunities to a community directly in contact with our research institution.
